Bake4EDEN combines a working bakery with learning aims, apprenticeships and is working towards sustainable employment for young people.
Tucked away in Sandgate, our little shop holds lots of delights!
Our daily bakers make some fabulous biscuits, cakes and sweet treats as well as our own homemade pies – savoury and sweet.
Weekly we make and bake Sourdough – the ‘old fashioned way’ a 24 hours process which creates a fabulous daily loaf – just flour, water & salt! We share our starter for free too!

It’s been a while since we have done afternoon tea’s.We were pleased to create this one for My Community- Penrith for their summer champagne afternoon tea at the Parish Centre today.A lovely selection of summer soup to start, freshly made sandwich parcels, fig & goats cheese filo, balsamic onion & Chedder quiche, and to finish a selection of our baked goodies, mini Victoria fresh cream cake, lemon tart, apricot brûlée, bite sized traybakes, and of course a freshly made scone with strawberry jam and clotted cream 😋 ...
