Our Policy regarding Donations & Gifts

4Eden (“the Charity”) accepts contributions, gifts, and grants at its discretion. The Charity will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended in a manner consistent with its purpose and mission.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life‑income in character, will be accepted if, under any reasonable circumstances, the gift would jeopardise the donor’s financial security.

The Charity does not provide advice regarding the tax or legal treatment of gifts and encourages donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers.

The Charity accepts donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in‑kind services may be accepted at the Charity’s discretion.

Certain other types of gifts — including real property, personal property, in‑kind gifts, non‑liquid securities, or contributions with unclear sources or usage restrictions — must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to potential obligations or liabilities.

The Charity will provide acknowledgements to donors where required for tax purposes. Except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no monetary value will be assigned to receipts or other substantiation documents.

The Charity will respect the intent of donors regarding restricted gifts and their wishes to remain anonymous. For anonymous gifts, donor information will only be shared with staff members who require it to administer the gift.

The Charity will not compensate any third party, whether through commissions, finder’s fees, or other means, for directing a gift or donor to the organisation.
