Coach4Independence – Practitioner (HFH)
Job Specifications
Aims and purpose of the role:
Are you someone who wants to make a genuine difference in people’s lives – not by caring for someone, but by sharing life with them?
We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic person to support three housemates to live independently and create a life that truly reflects who they are. This is about walking alongside people building confidence, encouraging choice, and celebrating everyday moments together.
In this role, you’ll support people to get out and about, experience normal everyday life, and enjoy everything their local and wider community has to offer – from simple daily routines to new experiences in a beautiful rural setting. You’ll help enable the development of practical skills, growth in confidence, and feel achievement.
Through person-led coaching, you will coach with daily living, health and wellbeing, and meaningful community engagement. You’ll empower individuals to build on their strengths, develop resilience, and maintain their independence – while feeling valued, connected and part of their community.
This is a deeply rewarding role where relationships matter, small steps make a big difference, and every day is about enabling people to live their best lives – on their terms.
In order to be selected for interview please ensure you demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria of the role and our values within your application.
